Lightroom CC – The Pano
It was with great excitement all over the web and social media on Tuesday 22 April that Adobe announced the latest instalment of it’s Lightroom Photographic Editing and Cataloguing Software.
There are a few new features which are really cool and some that actually just make life as a photographer that much more efficient and effective. I hope to share a few of my personal favourite new features and the results you can achieve.
Most would try a Landscape panorama of a great vista ….. BUT i have really tried to see the results with a lesser know subject and panoramic technique , wildlife panorama’s. Below is a quick and simple way to see the awesome results with this new feature. This image was captured at low level at Zimanga Private Game Reserve
WORKFLOW – My own involving Canon DPP and then the Pano feature , editing and presentation
Step 1 – Select files after DPP
Step 2 – Right click on images and find Photo Merge
Step 3 – Run auto selection and cropping
Step 4 , file opens in Lightroom. Edit as needed
Step 5 – Final image ready for use and export as needed.
